DESCRIPTION: Special Event: Supporting Birds Near and Far. April 30\, Sunday\, 8 a.m. Terry Trueblood Recreation Area Join the Iowa City Bird Club\, Audubon Center of Riverlands\, MO\, and the Iowa City Parks & Recreation Department for this event\, featuring a guided bird walk with leader Jason Paulios from 8:00 – 10:00\, followed by a presentation inside the lodge from 10:00-11:00. Come for one or both activities. Educators from Audubon will describe strategies you can take to support birds near and far\, while the Iowa City Bird Club and Iowa City Parks and Recreation will share ways to get involved locally.  \nThere is no fee for this event\, but space on the bird walk is limited\, and pre-registration for the walk is required here: http://bit.ly/406xFuB.
