TWO HORSE FARM, 2257 Sugar Bottom Rd NE, Solon.  Two Horse Farm is a new Johnson County Park that features restored prairie and oak-hickory forest with abundant edge habitat.  Our trip leader Chelsea Cozad, Naturalist with JCC, will guide us through the property and talk about the property’s unique history with ties to Indigenous lands and an 1890’s farm.    Target birds are early spring migrants like Winter Wren, Hermit Thrush, kinglets, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, and Yellow-rumped Warbler. Expect extensive hiking (1.5 – 2 miles) on mowed paths that may be wet.  

Preregistration required because of limited parking on site.
