Riverwalk Trail near the Coralville Reservoir Dam  4103 Prairie Du Chien Road NE, Iowa City. This is a flat, paved, short (0.4 mile) trail through the woods along the Iowa River, just downstream from the dam. It offers opportunities for waterbirds and forest birds, and our target birds include eagles, pelicans, other waterbirds, migrating songbirds, and resident birds such as woodpeckers. This is a good walk for beginning birders, and we’ll aim for a slower pace than other bird walks.
