Indiangrass Hills in Iowa County for breeding grassland birds. Leader Mark Brown will guide us through this 640-acre restored prairie which is designated an Important Bird Area. https://www.indiangrasshills.org/igh.php Expect to see Henslow’s Sparrows, Grasshopper Sparrows, Sedge Wrens, Orchard Orioles, Bobolinks and more. COVID precautions: Drive Separately or make carpool arrangements ahead of time with friends. Meet-up options:
- 7:00 at Kum & Go, I-80 Exit 216. We’ll follow lead car from here because driving route involves several turns and gravel roads. Kum & Go address is 2177 M Ave, Williamsburg. Allow about 30 minutes travel time from Coral Ridge Mall to Kum & Go.
- 7:15 at Indiangrass Hills parking lot (4549 I Ave, Williamsburg).
